Job Responsibilities
In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Trident Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach at the Berkeley, Palmer, Main, and Mt. Pleasant campuses. Day, Evening, Weekend, and Distance Learning classes will be offered. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. http://www.tridenttech.edu/about/ttc/index.htm
Minimum and Additional Requirements
To qualify for these positions you must have a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Biological Sciences to teach lectures and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences to teach laboratories. Courses are available in Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and General Biology at the Main campus, Palmer campus and Berkeley campus during the day and evening hours. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Previous experience teaching at the community college level is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are required. Please submit a copy of your graduate transcripts (unofficial copies acceptable) with your application. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. These positions are open until filled.
