Description

The Concession Worker will have the responsibility of serving patrons at Rock Island Sports Complex Concession Stand, operation of food and beverage service equipment, cash register operation, restocking duties, and nightly cleanup of the facility and grounds. Upon hire the Concession Worker will be directly responsible to the Complex Sports Supervisor. Weekend work will be required throughout the summer during tournaments from April to July and some weeknights may be needed.

Examples of Duties

1. Perform cash transactions.

2. Perform activities and duties in opening and closing the concession stand.

3. Operate and maintain food and beverage equipment.

4. Food preparation.

5. Maintain cordial relations with patrons and employees.

Typical Qualifications

Customer service experience is desirable.

Must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

Supplemental Information

Work will be performed on weekends during tournaments from April to July and some weeknights may be needed. Concession Worker will report to the concession stand for assigned daily shifts. Shifts are flexible and may change week to week.
