Court Administrator

• Services equipment and vehicles.  Orders materials.  Keeps trucks stocked with necessary tools and materials for the job.
• Sets up barricades.
• Grades and sets pipe according to blueprints and cut sheets.
• Makes street cut-outs.
• Cleans gutters and catch basins.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:
 

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
2. Must have valid Texas Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
3. Valid State of Texas Class "A" commercial driver's license with endorsement of air brakes, cargo, and combination must be obtained within six (6) months of date in position.
4. Six (6) months related experience.
5. Experience with reading blueprints.

Ability to compute inside and outside dimensions and changes.  Ability to read blueprints and cut sheets.  Ability to shoot grade with a level or laser level.  Ability to get along appropriately with co-workers and the public.

Attendance is an essential function of this position.  The City reserves the right to require an employee in this position to work overtime.  This position provides services or performs duties for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations.  These may include services or duties different from those performed in the usual course and scope of your job.  In the event of an evacuation, the incumbent in this position may be required to remain to perform needed services.
