Streets Maintenance Worker - Temp

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Performs a variety of tasks related to street maintenance which include, right of way mowing, trimming and debris removal, concrete and drainage work, and asphalt work. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  The ability to follow written and oral directions and safety rules and regulations, and to work in a team atmosphere establishing effective working relationships with co-workers, superiors and the public.  The ability to lift an average of 50 pounds carrying sprayers, trimming weeds, removing and placing concrete, patching asphalt, cleaning ditches, cleaning right of ways performing manual labor using hand tools and power equipment.
 
REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum 18 years of age.
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid Colorado Class "R" driver's license.
