Job Responsibilities
- ***Salary will be based on education and experience. ***
Under limited supervision, the incumbent will oversee documentation and training provided to users of the agency-provided court software. The incumbent will also provide assistance to the technical deployment team members.
Assist with the creation and preparation of training materials. Responsible for the timely ordering of printed training materials. Able to train unassisted in all areas of the Statewide Court Case Management System and E-Filing including but not limited to magistrate courts, municipal courts, bond courts and circuit courts.
Assist in the preparation and execution of deployment project plans. Prepare training schedules to meet the specific needs of deployment project plans. Prepare and maintain training environments including training rooms, equipment and databases.
Evaluate and customize training rollouts in order to meet the specific learning needs of students. Track and record the attendance of all personnel for each course provided. Identify opportunities for refresher training. Provide follow-up and staff training as needed. Perform the installation and setup of application software. Communicate with support and development team members regarding county specific procedures and setups.
Perform business process reviews and application table configurations. Assist with converted data validation and cleanup. Assist with converted data cross-walking. Plan and provide on-site support during application 'go-lives'. Be diligent in staying apprised on all new product developments, customizations and implementation best practices.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. At least two (2) years of experience with the deployment/training of computer applications. Related knowledge may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of the methods and techniques of computer training. Knowledge of hardware and software systems setup. Ability to prepare training schedules and course content.Ability to grasp new concepts and terminology quickly. Ability to follow technical instructions and requests. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Ability to establish effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Requires strong organizational and analytical skills. Requires a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time.Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the South Carolina state court system. Experience working in South Carolina's Statewide Case Management System (CMS), Jury Management System (JMS) and E-Filing applications is a plus. Instructional experience with computer applications.
