MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify, you must meet the minimum requirements upon the final filing date of this bulletin:
 
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent and five (5) years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, or inventorying supplies, equipment or property.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following desirable qualifications:
 
  • Experience leading or supervising the day-to-day operations of warehouse services
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Active and valid forklift license   

EXAMINATION INFORMATION:

Part I: Qualifying evaluation of education, training and experience based upon submitted application. 
 
Part II: Online examination, weighted 70%, covering Microsoft Excel 2010, deductive reasoning, management potential, professional potential, thoroughness, reliability, achievement, innovation, influence, and independence.

Part III: Training and experience evaluation, weighted 30%. You will receive points for each question based on the response you provide on the supplemental questionnaire. 

No person may complete this assessment more than once every 12 months.
 
Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements

A valid California Class C driver's license or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
