Fair Worker 2 Custodial - EXTRA HELP

NOTE: THIS RECRUITMENT MAY BE USED TO FILL UP TO TWO (2) VACANCIES. THESE ARE EXTRA HELP POSITIONS (NO BENEFITS).  

Performs semi-skilled maintenance tasks for the Fair and Expo Center.  

(Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)

Maintenance assignments:  Replaces supplies in rest room areas including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Cleans/disinfects fixtures and cleans rest rooms; continually monitors rest rooms to ensure they are orderly and appropriately stocked for use.  Cleans various Fair & Expo Center buildings and facilities. Picks up litter and disposes of garbage. Sweeps and mops floors.  Drives a motorized cart.   

Perform other related duties as assigned.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:  Any combination of training and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be 3 months of experience which demonstrates necessary knowledge and abilities for the particular assignment.

BACKGROUND CHECK:  Positions may require successful clearance of a Washington State Patrol inquiry under the Child and Adult Abuse Information Act.

LICENSE:  Certain positions may require a valid driver's license.

Demonstrated knowledge and ability for the particular assignment.
