Position: CONSTRUCTION WORKER
Salary Range: $27,613-$37,050 annually, plus benefits
We are looking for qualified candidates to join our Asset Management department as a Construction Worker. This is a permanent, full-time, entry level position with upward mobility. Under general supervision you will perform tasks involving physical labor at building construction projects. You will work hands on with various craftsmen, gaining extensive knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and concrete finishing. To do well in this role you should be able to perform physically active duties, and be a reliable hard worker. This position includes access to agency vehicle, uniform and mobile phone to complete work orders. - ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provide assistance to craft workers such as carpenters, plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters and concrete finishers.
- Demolish structures and salvage useful materials
- Safe use of power tools such as saws, drills and planes
- Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other camp compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection
- Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning services
- Repairs and maintains building fixtures, furniture, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Repairs and maintains toilets, sinks, water fountains, and drainage pipes.
- Performs preventative maintenance on environmental systems
- Replaces or repairs electrical switches, fixtures, and related systems.
- Replaces or installs doors, locks, windows, and related hardware.
- Repairs furniture and related items.
- Ensures that all building safety features are operational.
Minimum Qualifications
- REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school education and general knowledge of construction with at least 1 year experience.
Candidates with accreditation earned in foreign institutes are encouraged to apply

Valid Tennessee driver's license.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and other structure.
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
- The ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift push pull or carry object weighing up to 25 pounds regularly 50 pounds occasionally and 75 pounds rarely willingly' s mental and physical
- Ability to perform the duties involved for this position and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to perform with or without accommodation, physically demanding duties: such as, frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, crouching and lifting objects more than 50lbs.
- Dexterity to operate power and manual tools and equipment with sufficient clarity in speech, hearing, vision and powers of observation;
- Ability to perform work with or without an accommodation that requires sitting, standing, and walking, dexterity of hands and clarity of vision, speech and hearing and powers of observation;
- Other physical duties as required.
- Experience performing installation, maintenance and repair of the water, gas, sewer and drainage systems in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations;
- Experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance on central heating and cooling systems, refrigerators, ice makers, water coolers, freezers, and electrical motors
