Job Summary
- Maintain grounds, performs preventative maintenance and repair pumps, motors, and other various mechanical equipment at the treatment plant.
Duties
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Performs equipment, building, and lawn maintenance including rebuilding of pumps, painting of pumps, and building, mowing and trimming lawns. Also includes priming and greasing pumps and motors.
- Performs various tasks at treatment plants to assist in maintenance or repairs of plant equipment. Performs personnel related duties including assisting the operators.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid State of Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
- Must possess basic mechanical and electrical experience.
PREFFERED:- Class "C" Wastewater Treatment Certification from the TCEQ.
Additional Information
Ability to operate machinery and equipment used in wastewater treatment plants. The ability to work safely with electrical voltage, ranging from 24V to 480V. The ability to work well with others and the public.
