Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of Northeastern Technical College's institutional research and ensures the proper management, reporting, and security of official college data. Develops methods for retrieving data from college information systems, writes reports, and communicates findings to develop, implement, and assess data driven strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the college. Provides user training, assistance, and consultation on the use of software applications for research and reporting purposes, using web-based interfaces, such as Informer. Works with IT to develop and provide user access to data reports. Collects, interprets and reports data required for SACSCOC, IPEDS, and other reports as required. Oversees Institutional Effectiveness and continuous improvement plans. Plans, develops, writes, and edits operational procedures and manuals to assist with utilization of software applications for research and reporting. Represents the college in institutional research/IE peer groups and conferences.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of quantified data.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Research Methods or Business Management plus 4 years of relevant experience.
