SAINT PAUL COLLEGE seeks energetic and dedicated individuals to apply for one unlimited, full-time (1.0) Welding faculty position. This position requires a skilled individual with extensive experience in Oxygen acetylene welding and brazing, S.M.A.W., G.M.A.W-S., G.T.A.W. on Steel, stainless and Aluminum, GMAW Spray and Pulse Spray, S.A.W., F.C.A.W all to American Welding Society and industry standards.

Instructor is responsible for:
- Provide classroom instruction, evaluate and advise students;
- Develop and/or revise curriculum;
- Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events;
- Maintain technical knowledge in the field through active participation in professional development organizations and events;
- Promote diversity and cultural competency;
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean or Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Education Requirement-Diploma in welding;
- Occupational Experience Requirement-Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding;
- Recency Requirement-One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years;
- Must meet the Teaching and Learning Competency Requirement prior to the end of probation.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree;
- Two years of welding teaching experience;
- Evidence of experience working with persons/groups of diverse backgrounds;
- Knowledge of multi-cultural, gender- and disability-fair curriculum development;
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint);
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas: oxygen acetylene welding and brazing, S.M.A.W., G.M.A.W-S., G.T.A.W. on Steel, stainless and Aluminum all to American Welding Society and industry standards;
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas: GMAW Spray and Pulse Spray, S.A.W., F.C.A.W. all to American Welding Society and industry standards;
- Extensive Knowledge of Blueprint reading;
- Knowledge of Grinding and Finishing on Stainless and Aluminum;
- C.W.I.;
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas desirable: press break, turret punch, robotics and NC/CNC programming with the use of CAD/CAM;
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is desirable: Basic Fabrication, Press Brake set-up & Operation, Plasma Cutting both manual & CNC, Robotic Welding Programming & Operation, CAD/CAM Experience.
