Summer Parks Intern

Under direct supervision of the Parks Maintenance Department, the purpose of this position is to further the student's understanding and experience in the field of parks maintenance by providing support for a variety of departmental functions including but not limited to: weeding beds, watering, planting, plant trimming, picking up litter, and small plant bed design. 
 

Must be in the process of acquiring a degree in horticulture or field related to a service provided by municipal government. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver's License.   
 

Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
