Job Summary
The City of Greenville's Recreation & Parks Department is currently recruiting basketball officials for our Summer Adult Basketball League at Eppes Recreation Center. Under general supervision and guidance of the Adult Athletics Recreation Supervisor, Adult Basketball Officials will officiate and maintain control of league play by utilizing rules knowledge, proper mechanics, and consistent judgment, as well as work with other personnel to maintain a safe environment for participants; and perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Applicants must possess a strong working knowledge of basketball rules and have the ability and patience to work with adults. Applicants also should possess a good knowledge of first aid and safety procedures.
Games are held from 6:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Scheduled hours are flexible to availability.In addition to applying online, applicants must be NCHSSA certified or have completed training clinics held at H. Boyd Lee Park.Minimum Age: 18Salary: $22 per game
