Job Description
Responsible for instructing aquatic exercise classes
Essential Functions
- Instructs aquatic exercise classes to a wide variety of age groups/skill levels
- Periodically submits class outlines and workouts to aquatic center manager
- Maintains current class records
- Ensures the safety of all class participants according to facility policies and procedures
- Attend trainings
- Assist in aquatic programming
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 17 years or older
- Effective swimming skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and customers
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Conditions of Employment
- Must pass a drug test, driver's license check, criminal history background check, and social security number verification
- Must be able to work throughout the year. Morning and/or evening hours may be required
