Job Responsibilities

DMH is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

This position is located at Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina.

Under general supervision performs routine work in the preparation and cooking of food for regular and therapeutically modified diets.  This employee is trained in behaviors and level of functioning of various ages and populations of psychiatric patients.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Requirements: There are no minimum training and experience requirements for this class.

Agency Preferred: Requires considered knowledge of food preparation, as well as food related products and equipment.  Must be capable of following oral and written instructions. A tenth grade education and two (2) years experience in quantity cooking is required.
