Maintenance (Golf Course)

The work of this position involves unskilled manual work on a park maintenance, landscaping or janitorial crew.


The individual must be able to work mornings and weekends. 

The position is Part-time, 29 hours/week.
 

This position performs routine labor and maintenance duties in the upkeep of a golf course and clubhouse areas.

Performs janitorial duties as needed. 

Operates blowers, weed eaters, and other maintenance equipment.

Performs related work as required.

 

High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
 
Must be able to work mornings and weekends.  Usually not more than 25 hours per week.
 
Experiential requirements include knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
 
Combination of education and experience will be considered.
 
Ability to operate maintenance equipment.
 
Ability to deal professionally and courteously with the public and staff. 
 
A valid Georgia driver's license.
 

Work is performed outdoors as a member of a maintenance, landscaping or janitorial crew.  Work exposes the incumbent to dirt, dust, machinery and moving equipment.  Work is often performed in inclement or cold weather.  Work requires the incumbent to wear protective garments such as safety vests, gloves, safety glasses or masks.
