General Information
Work Schedule: June through August
Weekly Hours: Up to 40
Work Assignment: Varies – May include mornings, days, evenings and Sundays
Under general direction of the Youth Program Coordinator, or designee, performs various duties regarding the daily operation of the County seasonal day camp programs. Responsible for the safety and supervision of program participants, ages 5 and up, and staff. Work is reviewed through observation, reports and reaction and comments of program participants.
Note: OPS stands for Other Personal Services. This is a temporary position and not eligible for health or retirement benefits, is not a regular position.

Minimum Qualifications
Training and Experience
At least 18 years of age.
Associate's degree in recreation, education or related field.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with youth, as a teacher or two (2) summers of experience in a camp setting working with youth.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience desired.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications required before beginning assignment (training provided).
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
