Building Maintenance Worker

This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and maintenance of city buildings.

• Assists in the remodeling of buildings; constructs offices; lays and grouts floor tiles; hangs sheetrock
• Assists in setting bathroom fixtures
• Repairs water leaks and clogged drains
• Assists City employees in moving to other offices
• Replaces ceiling tiles
• Replaces light bulbs and ballasts
• Installs doors, door jambs, and windows
• Assists in pouring concrete slabs and stem walls
• Installs ice makers and hot water heaters
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent
• No experience requirements
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
