Duties
- Recommended experience includes playing or umpiring any level of softball/baseball. Umpires are required to participate in on-field clinics and must participate in all required training. Hours vary from 3 to 12 per week depending on schedule. Applicant must be able to work weekday nights and some weekends. Umpires must furnish their own uniforms. Season: April – October. Pay rate: $18.50 per game, one umpire system.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Supplemental Information
- Recreation and aquatic staff members are seasonal, City of Grand Junction employees. Applicants are required to complete a City application to be considered for a position. Successful candidates must complete a drug screen and background check and upon hiring provide documents that establish both identity and employment eligibility for the I-9 Form. EOE
