Job Responsibilities
The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.
This position is located at 2100 Charlie Hall Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29414.
Under general supervision of the Medical Director, provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services for clients of the Charleston Dorchester Community Mental Health Center.
Under general supervision, exercise medical responsibility for psychiatric services for community mental health center, interviews, examines, diagnoses and treats mental disorders of clients; performs professional duties requiring analysis of broad problems and planning of the treatment of children and adolescents at the center.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements: Licensed to practice medicine in SC; completion of four years of residency in psychiatry.
