Food Service Specialist I

The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

This position is located and worked within the Division of Inpatient Services.

Prepares portions and assembles meals per menu specification.  Verifies food service accuracy and follows all procedures.  Operates all food rethermalization and refrigeration equipment to serve clients hot and cold meal requirements.  Performs all ware washing, sanitation, and cleaning techniques to meet department standards.

State Requirement:  There are no minimum training and experience requirements for this class.

Note:  If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.

 

Agency Preference: Experience in Cook/Chill desired but not required.
