Job Responsibilities
- The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.This position is located within the Division of Inpatient Services and worked on the William S. Hall at G. Werber Bryan Campus, 220 Faison Drive
Under limited supervision provide comprehensive psychiatric social assessments, treatment interventions/planning and discharge planning for youths in Lodges C&D. Provides inpatient treatment and recovery services for children adn adolescents ages 4-17 years of age who are experiencing mental illness/substance use. Additionally, provides case management coordination, individual, group, family treatment and educational support groups. Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirement: A bachelor's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on accredited institution, plus experience as a professional social worker.
Agency Requirement: A master's degree and one (1) year of experience from a Social Work Program accredited by the council of Social Work Education. Licensed by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners as a LMSW or LISW.
