Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of F. E. Dubose Career Center teaches high school courses during the morning on campus for the three school districts in Clarendon County. Evaluates student progress; maintains accurate administrative records pertaining to classes; prepares daily lectures and supplemental course materials; prepares and evaluates tests and exams; evaluates projects, research assignments, and other course assignments.; examines new textbooks and computer software; develops extended course syllabi; performs academic administrative duties; counsels students with academic, career, and personal needs; and advises students for registration. Attends faculty and any other required meetings. Contributes to community activities as appropriate. Hours are 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday thru Friday with some occasional additional hours for meetings.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Five (5) or more years experience in Industrial Maintenance or a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and/or SC Teaching Certificate.
