Description
Temporary assignment estimated to last until November 30, 2018.
Examples of Work
- Assist with prescribed burning, ground preparation and planting of food plots and grass plantings, repair and maintain equipment, oversee other temporary employees, mix and apply chemicals, word processing, age and check deer, perform wildlife surveys, handle depredation response, public relations, oversee contractors and assist with wildlife disease investigations.
Qualifications / Requirements
- REQUIREMENTS: 15 semester hours or the equivalent of post high school coursework/training in fisheries management, natural resources and/or biology AND 12 months experience in wildlife, recreation or fisheries management. Valid driver's license or able to provide independent authorized transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of and ability to operate tractors and farm equipment; knowledge of wildlife management principles. Computer skills highly desirable (MS Word, Access, Excel).
