Additionally, 30+ hours per week will be counted as full-time employment and will receive full credit for the amount of time employed. A minimum of 15 through 29 work hours per week will be counted as part-time employment and will receive half credit for the amount of time employed.

- EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE (must include all of the following):- Four (4) years' experience in landfill operations
- One (1) year of supervisory or lead work responsibilities
EQUIVALENCY(IES):
- An associates degree, or higher, in engineering, environmental science or business field, with one year of supervisory or lead work responsibilities will meet the education and experience requirements.
LICENSE(S) and/or CERTIFICATION(S):- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
OTHER REQUIREMENT(S):- Subject to fieldwork and may include alternate work schedules.
- Class B Municipal Solid Waste License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) or ability to obtain during probationary period.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY(IES):- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- MS Office or similar software skills.
PREFERENCE(S):
Sanitation Services – McComas-Bluff Landfill: Landfill supervisor will be leading a dedicated team of construction professionals as they work to push and cover trash, apply daily cover, and attend to the customer service needs of all persons using landfill. The supervisor will have experience in leading crews at landfills and in heavy equipment operation.
