Pay Grade: Specialist 3

Performs a wide variety of general building and grounds maintenance in and around campus facilities.

*Facilitates furniture arrangement, repairs and function setup

*Performs general building maintenance including minor repairs and reporting of facility concerns

Assists in facilitating grounds maintenance

Prepares and performs painting tasks

Performs minor plumbing repairs as needed

Makes deliveries between buildings and campuses as needed

Assists vendors and contractors as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of and skills with use of tools and materials for general building maintenance

Ability to view, diagnose, and repair a variety of systems and equipment

Ability to demonstrates excellent customer service skills

Ability to exhibit good interpersonal skills and work well with others

Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Ability to demonstrates good organizational skills

Ability to perform normal duties with minimal supervision

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks

Requirements:

Five years experience in building maintenance

Valid Driver's license and clean driving record

Preferences:

High School Diploma or equivalent
