Purpose of Position:
This position will serve as part of the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Program team and will work with the CYFD Pre-K Program Manager in the implementation, compliance and quality monitoring, tracking and coordination of the Pre-K programs funded by CYFD. This position will assist in ensuring that the Pre-K Programs funded by CYFD meet all tasks associated with the responsibilities assigned. This position will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information, creating reports, follow up, holding community meetings and making public presentations as assigned regarding the Pre-K program, Early Learning Guidelines and other related assignments. This position may be required to travel across the state and focus on establishing innovative site-specific Pre-K Programs and on building infrastructure and capacity within New Mexico Early Childhood Investment Zones necessary for the implementation of Pre-K Programs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Administration or Business Administration and four (4) years of experience as a teacher and/or program administrator. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience.Employment Requirements:
Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results. Must possess and maintain a current and valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.Statutory Requirements:
Applicable New Mexico Teaching Certificate may be required. Issued by NMPED or a current teaching license from another State in accordance with 22-10A-3. Supplemental Information
