Job Responsibilities
The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.
This position is worked within the Patrick B Harris Psychiatric Hospital at 130 SC-252, Anderson, SC 29621.
Under the limited supervision, develops and provides active treatment in individual, group, or family therapy modalities. Utilizes knowledge of behaviors and level of functioning of adult and individually diagnosed psychiatric patients in implementing therapeutic and educational services.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirement: A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
Preferred Requirement: A Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related clinical area from an accredited program and two (2) of experience in practice subsequent to the degree. LISW or LPC preferred.Additional Comments
