Description
- This is a continuous posting: First review of applications will be December 4, 2017 and every two weeks thereafter until the positions are filled.
The Reserve Police Officer supplements and assists sworn police officers in their duties. Sworn reserve officers will augment regular staffing levels. Reserve officers work part-time and shall hold certification by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) (AAC ยง R13-4-103).
JOB OBJECTIVESPerform law enforcement and crime prevention work; patrol an assigned area for the prevention of crime and the maintenance of law and order; perform investigative work and other special assignments; and, perform a variety of technical law enforcement tasks. Job Requirements
