Job Responsibilities
Teaches courses in Nursing during day and/or evening; evaluates students' progress, prepares daily lectures, prepares and evaluates tests and exams, and prepares supplemental course materials to enhance instruction; evaluates projects, research assignments, and other course assignments; examines new textbooks, computer, and instruction software; develops course syllabi and demonstrates thorough knowledge of subject matter; counsels students with academic, career, and personal needs and advises students for registration; plans, evaluates, and develops curriculum and develops appropriate assessment instruments; submits all academic reports in a timely manner and maintains accurate and complete student records; serves on college committees, assists with recruiting efforts, attends college meetings, and adheres to College policies and procedures; formulates and develops a professional development plan consistent with the College and program's goals; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing, RN (Registered Nurse) licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina, and a minimum of two (2) years current experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience.
