Description
- Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Senior Staff, the position assists the Concessions, Operations and Front of House Departments. Employees in this classification perform supervisory functions as well as manual labor. Performs related work as directed.
Examples of Duties
- Provides professional assistance and support to Operations Manager and other full-time staff.
- Performs management duties as assigned by Operations Manager at theater events.
- Supervises concessions, operations, and other front of house personnel as needed in support of Operations Manager.
- Greets theater guests with professionalism and provides exemplary customer service to all.
- Supervises concessions staff and assists with concessions sales during events; sets up and cleans stands as needed.
- Supervises ushers and directs customers to correct seating locations; provides answers to any event questions.
- Assists Operations Manager with training concessions, operations, and front of house staff.
- Assists Operations Manager in preparing security and emergency plans for all events in cooperation with Senior staff.
- Assists Operations Manager with ordering supplies, concessions inventory, and stocking duties.
- Works with Operations Manager on set-ups, cleaning, and teardown of events in lobby, meeting rooms.
Minimum Training and Experience
- High school diploma or GED (college credits preferred); supplemented by one (1) to three (3) years previous supervisory/management experience and/or training in Operations, Concessions, Food and Beverage or Customer Service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Special Requirements- Valid Florida Drivers License
