Class Description
- A Crossing Guard ensures that children cross the street safely on their way to and from school. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities.
Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work part-time and variable hours of work on school days only. Work is performed outdoors where there is regular exposure to traffic hazards and inclement weather. Work requires minimal physical exertion. Selection Process
