Job Responsibilities
Trident Technical College's Medical Assisting program is seeking an MT/MLS/MLT to teach medical laboratory courses as a part-time adjunct instructor.
Lecture classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am – 9:30 am and lab sections will meet Monday 8:00 am – 10:40 am and Wednesday 8:00 am– 10:40 am. Course materials, such as lecture power points, lab activities, tests and quizzes are provided. The labs for these courses are held in TTC's MLT lab on Main Campus. Laboratory activities include: specimen collection (including live fingersticks and venipuncture), specimen centrifugation and pour off, point of care testing, rapid kit tests, sed rates, spun hct, hemoccult, urinalysis, use of a microscope, slide preparation and staining.Minimum and Additional Requirements
Ideal candidate will have an associate degree in MLT and credentialed. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's in a related area and MLT credentialed.
