Job Summary
Lifeguards for the Greenville Aquatics & Fitness Center and Community Pool are responsible for maintaining the safety of patrons in and around the pool and deck area. Responds to emergencies as needed. Assists with groups using the facility. Performs basic cleaning and water testing duties. Candidates must complete a lifeguard skills performance test prior to hire.
Requirements: Must be a certified Lifeguard or have been within the last six months. Must attend monthly training classes to maintain a high level of physical fitness and rescue skills.
Minimum age: 16
Hours: Works 10-20 hours per week with hours ranging from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday – Sunday
