Recreation Leader II: MSA Coaches

Plans practice schedule for each week, communicates by email and phone with parents on carpool and schedules, provides great customer service to all customers. The three schools that this position can work at are: Terman, Jordan or JLS Middle School. The position will work as a basketball and/or Spring sports coach.

This is a Limited Hourly non-benefited position, not to exceed 415 hours per fiscal year.
 

• Communicates by email and by phone with customers
• Plan and conduct recreational activities for community members of middle  school age
• Ensure facility is maintained and safe procedures are followed
• Advertise upcoming events
• Monitors their own practices and games
• Always on time and available Monday through Friday for an hour and a half  between the hours of 2-7 pm
• Goes through coaches training before work.
• All other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or G.E.D certificate
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Leadership skills
• At least two years of coaching middle school level sports/ played at least two year of a sport
