Definition

This is sub-professional work in a student work-study program in conjunction with a college or university baccalaureate co-op program.

An employee in this class performs work in support of professional civil engineering, urban planning, architecture, or landscape architecture in any one of several areas as part of a coordinated program of employment and instruction with a college or university leading to a degree in engineering, surveying or architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of the required schooling at an accredited college or university for the start of co-op program in civil, structural, mechanical, chemical, industrial, or electrical engineering; construction engineering technology, surveying and mapping technology, landscape architecture, or architecture.  List of essential job functions available upon request.
