Job Responsibilities

Provides instruction to students enrolled in Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering Transfer and Technology courses. Assist the Academic Program Coordinator in curriculum development and assessment, care of facilities equipment, and laboratory apparatus, and with other details pertinent to the operation of their assigned courses. Assist the Academic Program Coordinator with the organization and supervision of advisory committees, community outreach, and data collection and reporting related to continuous quality improvement and accreditation of the program as necessary.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics; or Master's in a related discipline with 18 graduate hours in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Licensure is desired. Industrial experience is highly preferred. Experience with curriculum design, online educational content production, or alternative course delivery methods is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage the classroom and students.
