Job Responsibilities

Serves as an Instructor in the Mechatronics Program; teaches classes such as Industrial Skills, Principals of Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Mechanical Troubleshooting, Mechanical Power Applications and Drive Systems primarily at the Kershaw County Campus; advises students; assists with student recruitment and retention; participates in curriculum and instructional materials development and assessment functions; serves on college committees; participates in college outreach activities and maintains collaborative working relationships with business and industry; develops and implements a professional development plan that supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position and participates in College professional development activities; and initiates activities that expand job knowledge in content area and in technology.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or other closely related degree and three (3) to five (5) years relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Mechanical Industrial Maintenance.
