Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to interview families and to assess/analyze documents to determine eligibility for the Child Care Services Bureau Assistance Programs.  This position will provide case management for assigned cases, make appropriate child care placements and payments to child care providers, and make referrals to other community resources or state agencies.  In addition, this position will provide training to clients regarding child care programs.

This position is a Pay Band 50.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience in government assistance programs such as welfare, unemployment benefits, social security benefits and/or public housing.

Employment Requirements:
Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results. Must possess and maintain a current and valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive phone and personal computer usage. Direct client interaction and some travel may be required.
