Job Responsibilities

The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

 This position is located within the Division of Inpatient Services' on the C.M. Tucker Nursing Care Center Campus, 2200 Harden St, Columbia, SC

Functions as a Licensed Physical Therapist/ Rehab Team member in the DIS physical therapy department.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Requirement: A bachelor's degree in physical therapy and work experience in physical therapy.

Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position. Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Agency Preferred: Licensed as a Registered Physical Therapist by the South Carolina State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and two (2) years of experience as a physical therapist; or licensure, a master's degree in physical therapy and one (1) year of experience as a physical therapist.  The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. for patient care
