Qualifications

Doctorate in Accounting from an AACSBI accredited institution to teach primarily financial accounting (governmental and/or tax accounting a plus). ABO will be considered {will expect completion within three years). Earned doctorate, university teaching experience and documented research record are required for higher rank. Professional certifications: CPA, CMA, CFE, etc., are highly preferred. Publications and evidence of research capability are expected.

Job Concepts

Teach 12 credit hours to 15 credit hours of undergraduate related accounting courses.
Engage in scholarly activities including research and professional publication. Participate in professional service activities within the School, College, or University. Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Business.
