Davidson Transit Organization, the hiring arm for Nashville MTA is hiring the following:

Diesel Mechanic

Immediate opening for an experienced diesel mechanic to repair and maintain a variety of vehicles such as buses, access ride vans, forklifts, wreckers and automobiles.

Typical Duties

This position requires a great deal of physical exertion, including work performed during periods of extreme weather conditions and flexibility with work hours. 

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age. Candidate should own a complete set of tools and be able to operate any equipment normally used in the repair of vehicles.
