Work Schedule
Variable hours, including holidays, weekends, early mornings and evenings. 40 hr/week.

Overall Job Objective

Under general supervision of the Reservoir Program Coordinator, to ensure private parties, rentals and reserved functions needs are met; communicate changes to the contract, or problems with amenities; provide outstanding customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process reservation requests for picnics/parties.
  • Greet each party/group upon arrival, orient the organizer to the Reservoir and the park rules, ensure the set-up is accurate and adequate, and anticipate and meet guests needs.
  • Ensure any additional amenities ordered by the organizer are delivered and added to the invoice on the day-of.
  • Communicate with the staff when any changes are made which involve altering the set-up or may affect the take-down.
  • Responsible for meeting with the staff before party/event arrival to ensure proper set-up.
  • Customer service  and communication via phone and email.
  • Assist Reservoir Operations Crew with set up duties as needed.
  • Responsible for knowing the picnic policies, park rules, boat permit requirements and fees, applicable local laws, state statutes and codes.
  • Responsible for knowing, understanding and performing role in all emergencies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus at least 6 months customer service experience. Ability to communicate policies and rules in an educational manner.
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer, email, e-calendar, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Have and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – In addition to the required minimum qualifications,
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Spanish language proficiency.

WORKING CONDITIONS - Required Physical and Mental Effort, and Environmental Conditions
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform a wide range of strenuous physical and manual tasks in an outdoor environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, and kneel. Able to use a variety of long handled, manual, and power tools; and to operate equipment while working in and around moving traffic. Upper body strength to lift to 40 pounds daily and over 75 pounds on an occasional basis. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication
