SALARY

  • July 1, 2018- 2% COLA increase
  • July 1, 2019- 2% COLA increase

  • 8% EE share paid by EE
  • 2.7% @ 55 formula, single highest year

Retiree Health Care
  • City pays the minimum employer contribution to CalPERS                                  
  • City will make a contribution to the retiree's individual  health reimbursement account based upon the employee's years of  service to the city as follows,
    • 6-10 years of service 20% of the premium cost
    • 11-15 years of service 40% of the premium cost
    • 16-20 years of service 60% of the premium cost
    • 21-25 years of service 80% of the premium cost
    • 26 years of service or more 100% of the premium cost
MEDICAL & DENTAL INSURANCE
  • CalPERS Medical Plans and Delta Dental Plans
  • City will contribute to each employee $1,7000/ mo
  • Balance can be taken as additional compensation or deferred compensation
VISION INSURANCE (Vision Service Plan)
  • City will contribute up to a maximum premium cost of $34.05/ mo
LIFE INSURANCE (The Standard Insurance)
  • City shall provide a $100,000 term life and AD&D insurance.
  • Additional term life and AD&D available paid by EE
SHORT TERM/LONG TERM DISABILITY (The Standard Insurance)
  • City pays 100% of the EE premium
  • Max benefit of 66 2/3 of their current base salary up to $5,000/ mo maximum
  • 30 day waiting period
DEFERRED COMPENSATION (457 PLAN) 
  • ICMA-RC and/or Nationwide Retirement Solutions
  • City Contribute $100.00 per month
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE
  • Maximum of seventy-two (72) hours
  • Unused time will be paid during the month of July
HOLIDAYS (PG 6)
  • On January 1st of each year, each employee will be credited with ten (10) hours of leave for observance of Martin Luther King Day and ten (10) hours leave, for a total of twenty (20) hours.
  • Bank hours vary depending on holiday schedules
HOLIDAY BANK
  • EE are credited with an equivalent number of holiday bank
  • EE may accumulate up to a maximum of one hundred (100) hours of holiday bank time.
  • Payout of unused hours in excess of 100 will be removed from the employee's holiday bank hours accrual  on January 1 and paid in their straight time hourly rate no later than June 30
SICK LEAVE & INCENTIVE PROGRAM
  • Accrue 3.693 hours for each pay period
  • Maximum accrual 300 hours, 600 hours or 900 hours
  • Excess hours will be removed from the EE sick leave hours accrual, calculated at their straight time hourly rate, paid at no less or no more than 75% of the total value paid in December
VACATION
  • 1-5 years, 3.6923 PP
  • 5-10 years, 4.6153 PP
  • 10-15 years, 5.5384 PP 
  • 15-20 years, 6.4615 PP
  • 20 years, 7.3846 PP
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT 
  • Amount not to exceed $2,000 per fiscal year 
COMPUTER LOAN PROGRAM
  • Up to $1,500 interest free loan and payroll deduction
MONTHLY PHONE ALLOWANCE 
  • Up to $100.00 per month allowance 
VEHICLE/VEHICLE ALLOWANCE 
  • Up to $400.00 per month allowance or issued a City-owned vehicle
