  • Cook hot and cold food for over 900 customers on a daily basis following computerized recipes.
  • Monitor and maintain a sanitary work environment by implementing safe food practices such as: taking hot and cold food temps, taking food samples, storing food under proper/safe conditions/temperatures and within expiration dates.
  • Clean and sanitize food surfaces, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Weld County Health codes and food inspection requirements.
  • Anticipate and communicate food needs to production manager at dining unit.
  • Record current production and make recommendations for future production needs.
  • Advise student servers on sanitation procedures and portion control, following required serving sizes.
  • Receive food items from vendors.
  • Label and store under proper temperatures and health code conditions and sign invoices when needed.
  • Compiles data obtained from inventory and production to be recorded.
  • Creates line chart outlining how the food set up should be and put everything on a production sheet.
  • Record amount of food used and left at the end of each shift.
  • Date and store leftovers in appropriate pans.
  • Instructs the Dining Service I employees on equipment sanitation and daily preparation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
Two years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
