Job Responsibilities

  1. The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

This position is at C. M. Tucker located at 2200 Harden St, Columbia, SC 29203

To maintain C.M. Tucker, Jr. Nursing Care Center in the highest state of cleanliness by supervising and reviewing work performed by co-workers and ensuring that sanitation standards are met. 
 
BPH is a SMOKE-FREE Campus.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State Requirement: There are no minimum training or experience requirements for this class.

Agency Requirement: Any combination of experience or training that would enable an applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. 
 
 

Preferred Qualifications

Agency Preference: Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial tasks.  Knowledge of safety practices; skilled in the use of cleaning tools and equipment as well as skilled in the safe operation of power equipment.  Ability to follow directions.
