Purpose of Position:
This position will provide Supervision to a Radiology Services Department. The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day operations of the department including Patient care, X-Ray and CT as well as monitoring, directing and performing tasks.

This position is a Pay Band 65.

 

Classification Description

Radiologic Technologist & Technician Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Radiographer Technology and Radiologic Science or completion of an American Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) Program and two (2) years of experience working in a laboratory. All applicants for this position must be licensed in accordance with Medical Radiation Health and Safety, 61-14E-1 through 61-14E-12 NMSA 1978.
 

Employment Requirements: 
Must possess and maintain a current license to practice as a New Mexico Radiology Technologist in New Mexico or eligibility for such licensure in accordance with New Mexico requirements. Employment is subject to a pre-employment background investigation and is conditional pending results.
 
Statutory Requirements: 
All applicants for this position must be licensed in accordance with Medical Radiation Health and Safety, 61-14E-1 through 61-14E-12 NMSA 1978. You must include your license or certificate number in the "License" section of the application form.

Working Conditions: 
Work is performed in a hospital setting, long periods of standing, bending. Must be able to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs., may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays and rotation of on call time.
