Job Responsibilities

Must be able to teach 2 to 3 courses on the topic of soil science as it relates to agriculture and horticulture as well as the topic of plant form and function.

Must possess a Masters degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Education, or Horticultural Science.

Additional Comments

In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
