Description

Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Senior Staff, the position assists the Concessions, Operations and Front of House Departments.  Employees in this classification perform manual labor.  Performs related work as directed.

Examples of Duties

  • Provides professional assistance and support to Operations Manager and other full-time staff.
  • Performs cleaning services during events as well as normal business hours; removes trash, cleans restrooms and theater as well as backstage area.
  • Greets all guests who come to theater with professionalism and provides exemplary customer service to all.
  • Assists with concessions sales during events; sets up and cleans stands when event is over.
  • Assists House Manager with directing customers to proper seating locations and provides answers to any event questions.
  • Assists Operations Manager with ordering supplies, concessions inventory, and stocking duties.
  • Works with Operations Manager on set ups, cleaning, and teardown of events in lobby and meeting rooms.

Minimum Training and Experience

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one (1) to three (3) years previous experience and/or training in Operations, Concessions, Food and Beverage or Customer Service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Strong customer service skills
