Hourly Rate of Pay:  $7.25 - $16.00 (Based competency Assessment)

This temporary position will be assigned to the Dept. of Information Technology/Health Information Exchange Authority.  This employee will be responsible for processing contracts and maintaining a detailed customer database, JIRA. Duties may include taking health care provider account information and entering it into customer relation software; processing provider accounts and review data for deficiencies; as well as reviewing contracts and pulling information from hard copy material and entering it into the database. This person will maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes to management. They will resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete information to the Business Development team for resolution. Ideally, this person will assist with opening accounts, updating account information and can resolve problems over the phone or following up to ensure resolution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies checking for longer labels in job detail

Must have superior communications skills, specifically over the phone, and possess ability to assist customers who call into the division.  Experience working in a call-center or customer service role is preferred.  Candidate must also possess experience working with legal contracts and/or handling sensitive data and information.  Desired candidate should have proven experience reviewing contracts and verifying that information is accurate and complete.
 
Must possess proven ability to successfully communicate with customers, both verbally and in writing and maintain working relationship with staff and members of the department.
The following computer software skills are required at an above average level:  Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook E-Mail and Calendar. Preferred personal computer software skills include: Adobe Acrobat, Customer Relation Management (CRM) Software and Project Management Software. 
 
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements for this position.  Individual must be able to prioritize work, organize information and files and be flexible with changes in administrative assignments and deadlines prioritized by management. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
 
Experience in the health care environment strongly recommended.

Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience or demonstrated possession of competencies necessary to perform the work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Management Preferences:  Experience in a legal or health care environment and/or customer service/sales position
